Inspired by skyscrapers in an urban setting, this flatwoven dhurry rug is handwoven in fine wool from Afghanistan. These dhurry rugs are woven on traditional Punja looms by skilled artisans. These rugs are known for their durability and beauty. Once woven these rugs are washed with water and dried under the warm Sun in open air. We follow the age-old traditions that have been carried out for generations when weaving our Dhurry rugs.

  • Cleaning:Wool is valued for its natural resilience and ability to maintain its shape over time. Regular vacuuming without a brush helps preserve its softness and longevity. For a deeper clean, professional flat washing is recommended. As a natural material, the rug may shed slightly initially, but this diminishes gradually.
  • Stain removal:Wipe the stain carefully with a mixture of lukewarm water and soap. Absorb excess liquid with a dry microfiber cloth.

BESPOKE SIZING

We offer custom sizes on most of our rugs. If available, you will find this option at the bottom of the size selector. Please enter the shorter side as the width and the longer side as the length. As each rug is carefully crafted by hand, slight natural variations in size (up to 3 cm) may occur.

Length options: 140–1800 cm
Width options: 75–500 cm
